Wayne County Household Hazardous Waste
Collection Day

Wayne County offers several household hazardous waste collection days each year that is available at no cost to all Wayne County residents. Please refer to the information below for the next scheduled event.

 

 

 

When: Saturday, August 28, 2010 Time: 8am to 2pm Where: Westland Mall By JC Penny Warren Road, Westland

Examples of Acceptable Items:
Household paints, stains, dyes, floor wax, nail polish, glues, fertilizers, pesticides, antifreeze, motor oil, gasoline, car & boat batteries, fluorescent bulbs, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, mercury, computer equipment, cell phones, fax machines, copiers and televisions AND Pharmaceutical Waste (NON-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ONLY).
